2024-12-30Hi I’ve just tested pregnant and the line is very faint.. but I’m currently down with fever, flu. As I’m allergic to panadol, my doctor prescribe me it’s zynal (naproxen) for fever. Bilaxten (bilastine) for flu. Which both I’ve google is not good for pregnancy.. which might cause miscarriage.. so I still take the medicine? 🥲
2024-12-30I was having lochia and was tapering down for a while, but I started re-bleeding with bright red blood again today (24 days post partum), soaking through a pad (feels like mensus day 1 or 3)…. Is his normal or should I see a doctor?
2024-12-30Hi Mommies, I am 36 weeks and planning to change to a private patient. Does anyone know if I can still choose ward C as a private patient? My understanding was that if you are a citizen or PR you can go for ward C even if you are a private patient. Today someone told me once I go private I can only choose A or B1 ward. Please advise, next week is my first visit after that I will become private patient. I am not in a situation to go with A or B1 ward currently. If can’t choose ward C don’t want to go private.
2024-12-30hi mummies, my LO just turned 2 months but his wake windows are generally very short (avg 1 hour plus feedimg snd changing). i tried to keep him awake a little longer to do some activities however he gets fussy and will cry. i dont follow a strict routine and will just follow his cues but will still feed every 3 hours. LO also wsnts to be carried almost all the time and i find it difficult to do any activity with him. and cant tell if he wants to be rocked to sleep or he just wants to be carried all the time. also, i see alot other LOs cooing and smiling alot when their parents talk to them but my LO hardly coos and i still have not see him smile socially. is this 2 normal??? scared he is very developmentally delayed.
2024-12-31I have difficulties with my milk supply. Everytime i pump , it s 200 ml++ , people might say it s a blessings. But now apparently my life is all about pumping, cant even hug my son , cos everytime i hear he cries, it leaks. Any inputs to decrease the supply?

2024-12-31Since both of us can work from home 1-2 days a week, we are looking at sending our baby to infant care for only 2-3 days a week instead of the full 5 days. But we can't seem to find any information on this online. Do infant care centres allow you do enrol for just 3 days a week (ideally with prorated fees)?

2025-01-03I did 2nd time ultrasound scanning today and got the result. gynae said mostly everything is doing quite ok, but I have low placenta. My gyane said it is just starting pregnancy scanning and will need to do a few more upcoming to see how got the risk and need c-section What should I prepare for this low placenta risk? How do I get to become a normal placenta for my delivery? I am in week 21 ,Edd in may 2025. I am feeling worried and scared ,I don't want to lost my baby 😢

2025-01-04Hi mummies out there. I'm currently at 13+5 weeks, and this is my first pregnancy through IVF. Did my OSCAR test 2 days back and results came back I'm at very high risk of Pre-eclampsia, 1 in 21. So I was started on low dose Aspirin daily. I'm only 34 yrs old, with no medical history. Was wondering if this is something to be worried about. Any mummies out with similar situation??
