Infant care 3 days a week
Since both of us can work from home 1-2 days a week, we are looking at sending our baby to infant care for only 2-3 days a week instead of the full 5 days. But we can't seem to find any information on this online. Do infant care centres allow you do enrol for just 3 days a week (ideally with prorated fees)?
trust me, better to put 5 days in IFC even if you're WFH, because baby really demands your full attention when they are awake, and you won't be able to concentrate on your work. I thought I could also survive without IFC since I WFH 4x a week but it was so hellish I didn't even know why I thought it would be a walk in the park in the first place. besides, in IFC, they learn to socialise with other kids their own age so developmentally it's better for them also. bringing them for only 2-3 days a week is also super disruptive to their schedule since babies thrive on routine so best to go for the full 5 days. like someone mentioned, it's either 5 full work days or 5 half work days, no in between.
Read moreErrr I don’t think there’s 3 days a week infant care with prorated fees. The fee is fixed every month but you can send your baby to ifc 2-3 times a week, which I would recommend not to. It’s hard to focus work as baby needs a lot of attention. I have tried it before and I ended up working till late when baby is asleep. That’s the only time I can focus but I lost my me-time and rest.

Read moreIFC centres allow bb to attend 2-3 days a week but there will be no prorated fees. I initially planned to send bb 2-3 half days per week but teachers recommended not to as it’s too disruptive for bb. Ended up sending 5 half days weekly. So far so good (:
I also thought can but when i asked around, the fees would still be the same so might as well send for full 5 days.. maybe when wfh days can pickup bb earlier if u want. Those centres that have flexi timing only AM or PM timings, not days..
er..I think tt it's either full 5 days, or 5 half days. I haven't heard of 2-3 days ifc. You can send your kid to ifc for 2-3 days a week, but the fees remain the same as full 5 days.
Camping here to find out more too!
