I have difficulties with my milk supply. Everytime i pump , it s 200 ml++ , people might say it s a blessings. But now apparently my life is all about pumping, cant even hug my son , cos everytime i hear he cries, it leaks. Any inputs to decrease the supply?
Can try to use cold cabbage to lower the supply and also, don’t fully empty your breast. Because it works on supply and demand, the more you empty, it will signal the body to produce more. Hope this helps!

I can’t advise on this cause my supply is only slightly over (bb drinks lesser) so I don’t need the medicine. But most people usually take the medicine to stop supply instead (there are also cases where the medicine didn’t work for mummies who had super over supply/takes a longer time, so it really varies). I would say, only take the meds if you’re ready to stop bf anytime.
To add on, it’s normal that it leaks when you hear your son’s cries, it’s like sending a signal to the mum that baby needs to feed so it starts running.
For the leaking part, you can use a milk collector/breast pad. But for now, I’d recommend to try out the above methods first to signal your body that you don’t need that much supply.
