I think tracking your wife's ovulation is the most effective thing you can do other than constantly trying. Honestly, even when your wife isn't ovulating you should be trying. If you're still having problems, try asking a specialist for their best advice. Other than that, just stay optimistic. Good luck!

Try and try and try I think! I've also read that it's good to prep the body --- eat healthy, be very well-hydrated, lose weight if overweight, quit vices, exercise, etc. It's also wise to track your wife's cycle --- there are even apps for that now!

Why not exercise together? Do as much activities together. I think it helps so you know each other's rhythm. And of course, just keep on trying!
