Why are most or almost all moms are scared of CS delivery?

Hi, I don't know why because it was on the contrary with me. I was more scared of the normal delivery because of the unbearable pain one has to go through till the baby is born. And there is no escape either. Once you decide to have a normal delivery, you can not back out even if you feel you are dying of pain. I remember when I was getting prepared for my C-Section, there was one woman going through labor pains, and she started screaming that please I cannot bear it, do my C-section and get the baby out. But, trust, there was no one interested in even listening to her demand. I am sure she must have passed that all and delivered the baby fine, but all I mean is I find normal delivery quite scary.
