Need a little help here
Why does my 13 months-to-be baby start crying/wailing as soon as he wakes up? I start to put him to sleep by 750pm the night before, and he falls asleep by 815pm. By 2+am, I noticed that he will start stirring a bit, or tossing and turning, daddy manage to sooth him to sleep, but then stirs again by 4+ and 5+ he will be up and crying. Advise, any mummy?
Hi, does he have enough solids in the day? Sounds like baby is hungry
- My baby is 10 months old, we co sleep with my baby. He will sleep only by sucking my breast and then keep sucking until close to half an hour and fall asleep. In the night he wakes up close to 3 times again suck suck until he falls asleep. Daddy tried to make him sleep on all the occasions however he will cry and cry and we give up and let him suck. I am feeling exhausted and this is only during night as I am working Mother. I have never given him pacifier however should I give him pacifier now, feeling helpless.Anonymous
- My 16 months old recently didn't sleep so well at night. He will literally wakes up every 2-3 hours every night crying. The only way to pacify him is to give him milk 120ml and he will goes back to sleep. I fed him dinner at 6-7pm and will go to sleep around 9pm. He will have a good 4-5 hours of sleep and will wakes up 2-3 hours after that. Any mummies having same experince or any tips how can I make him have a longer sleep at night. TIA!Anonymous
- Hi can i know how do i get to train my 6 month old to sleep by himself. He does not know how to self soothe and wants only me to put him to sleep. I will need to rock and cradle him till he falls asleep. Sometimes it will take about 20 mins for him to fall asleep. After putting him down for a bout 20 mins he will wake up and i have to rock and cradle him again. Its really tiring and now if i were to put him in infant care i dont know how the teacher would manage this. Since birth he is fussy baby and having reflux and gassy stomach which is why i will need to rock and cradle him to sleep. How do i stop all this rocking and cradle cause i try to put him down n pat him to sleep but doesn't work for him. Any advice?
Send him to sch. You will be surprised how babies can change when they’re in different environment. There are a few methods to do it (fb has a group called sleep training). Firstly, the patting timing needs to stop gradually. Start with no rocking, only pat in bed. Slowly cut from 20mins pat and leave. Then slowly cut to pat 15mins and leave. Use a baby monitor to monitor baby’s cries. I use sleep props (pacifier, older-a pillow/soft toy). I do night routines since birth and you can try it too. Soft music, off lights, milk, sleep within 5 mins no fuss, no patting, no rocking. If he’s fussy, I will carry and hug then I leave in cot and leave the room.Anonymous
