Who should be in charge of budgeting the money, husband or wife?

I agree with Grace and Felicity. Whoever is good at managing finances should be the one to keep track of the budget but it's also important to have an open communication with your spouse on the breakdown of your expenses/payables so that both of you are on the same page.

It's not about the gender on who's going to handle the finances. I firmly believe that whoever handles the money well, let him or her manage the finances. In our case, my husband is a little bit of a spender so we both agreed that I will manage our money.

It depends on who is more capable. One of our marriage mentors shared that for their setup, the husband does the financial management. Same setup for my inlaws. In our family, I handle everything related to finances.
