Preeclampsia

Question

Who among you here is experiencing preeclampsia during 3rd trimester of pregnancy? Any thoughts about it? Im worried about my baby. ?Last week, Ive been experiencing edema, excessive weight gain and just yesterday my blood pressure suddenly rise to 140/100 which is already high blood pressure. All these are symptoms of preeclampsia which occurs in 1 out of 20 pregnancies. I dont know exactly whats the cause of all these. Ive been taking my prenatal vitamins and eat healthy foods. Please share your experience and give me some advices.

better magpacheckup kn po sa ob mo ASAP...I experienced preeclampsia last month lang..naemergency cs po ako ng 36 weeks dahil ngccmula napong humiwalay baby ko sa placenta.ganyang ganyan ang mga sintomas ko dati...sobrang manas pati mukha ko tapos sobrang taas ang bp...

hi there is it really preeclampsia (protein sa urine) or gestational hypertension. i had gestational hypertension during the last trimester of my pregnancy as in my bp was around 170/100 even while at resting stage its hormonal kasi but never had protein in my urine. the side effect is IUGR which restricted the growth of my babies (i had twins) inside. on the day i delivered them thats when i had preeclampsia so my ob immediately gave me magnesium drip (which i super hated) to prevent seizure. have your ob closely monitor u to be safe
