When will my baby start to control his head movement?

Your baby will probably be able to lift his head when he's about a month old, and hold it up when placed in a sitting position at around 4 months. His neck muscles and head control should be strong and steady by 6 months. However, each baby's development may be different from one another thus just taking this as a guide and do not be pressure if you baby is not meeting the milestones yet.
