Personally, if I could, I wouldn't let my kid have their own social media account till he or she is atleast 13 years old. I'd like to think that 13 onwards is the age where they would know how to discern between right and wrong. But this is an imperfect world and there are dangers everywhere and we cannot always be around to protect our children. The best we can do is to educate, advise and deter them if needed.
