Hi all, When did the breastmilk come in after give birth? I just give birth yesterday but no milk yet.
3rd day for me
Be patience. Colustrum available in the first 3 days. Then try to latch as much as possible inthe first 3 days, about 8-12 times in a day, around 2-3 hours. Then u slowly to see the milk coming at at 4th day!
5th day
Between 2-3 day. U must however try to massage your boobs. Latching will speed up the process. It will be super painful. Just imagine all the bm kenna stuck around the gate waiting to come out. After the initial colostrum (mommy’s first bm aka liquid gold) is out, you will feel instant relief.
After 2 weeks (low), supply slowly kick in only after 1month
My milk supply came in on the 3rd day. First few day were just colostrum.
Eat fish, avocado, those food that help with milk production
Mine only come in after 3rd day.
