As many mummies have said, such drinks are loaded with loads of sugar - on top of colouring, flavouring etc. so I personally wouldn't give it to my LO or even drink it myself! If you're looking for probiotics, you can try yoghurt or probiotic drops like what other mummies suggested - but it's always best to check with the PD first if you have any concerns over LO's digestion :) # Yakult vs Vitagen

If I want to add probiotics to my baby's diet, I will probably give her probiotic drops like biogaia. It's only 5 drops a day and not sugar loaded like yakult or vitagen. Vitagen seems "healthy" however, It is also full of colouring, artificial taste and sugar. Furthermore it's not cheap. so I'll try to delay it as much as possible. # Yakult vs Vitagen

I would say once baby has started to take solids. However i would not give it cold. Best to feed room temperature. On the whole i do not give baby yakult, in fact anything with sugar. I try to delay the introduction of sugar. In that way, it will not be a norm for them. http://www.yakult.com.ph/common_questions.asp # Yakult vs Vitagen

Your toddler can drink both Yakult OR Vitagen depending on the health and stool condition of the child. I recommend you start with a small amount of Yakult OR Vitagen diluted with lukewarm water (e.g. one spoon diluted with two spoons of lukewarm water). # Yakult vs Vitagen

When it comes to Vitagen VS Yakult, my pick would definitely be Vitagen as it contains prebiotic fibre which is missing in Yakult. But whichever drink you finalise, I would suggest introducing small amounts in moderation. # Yakult vs Vitagen

I would suggest not introducing Yakult or Vitagen at all and better stick with water to quench your child’s thirst. These drinks contain high amounts of sugar which can be damaging for a child's developing teeth. # Yakult vs Vitagen

Yakult is good for the tummy. I think it's ok to give it to babies. IF they will drink it. I can already imagine the face of your baby once he/she tries it. :D # Yakult vs Vitagen
