What would work best for a Filipino family, a stay-in maid or a house keeper that comes and goes?

Filipino families usually prefer a stay-in maid because of the workload. But if there's just less workload, you can just get a stay-out maid which costs cheaper than the stay-in. For me I have a stay-in maid to take care of my baby, and a stay-out maid who does the washing and ironing of clothes. :)
