What are the pros and cons of a destination wedding?

I've worked as a VA before for a destination wedding campaign. The preparation really takes much longer and you have to be very careful about the suppliers. You're lucky if you find an organizer who's really hands on and have intensive experience handling destination in the past. Otherwise, you might feel sorry during the event day itself. There is an ocular visit prior to the event, yes. But there's no guarantee that you'd get what you really want. Organizers only arrive at the venue hours before the event, so mishaps are really inevitable.
