the main thing you need to take care of is that wherever you are planning to stay, make sure it is a safe place in terms of easy access to shops, medical facilities and such. also, make a medical kit with the medicines that your kid takes on a regular basis, a thermometer, some band-aids, burn antiseptic, antiseptic liquid and such - ask the doc for medicine supplies that you can carry for emergency. and make sure to carry your kid's medical file in case it is required. other than that, carry any favourite toy or item that your kid can't stay without, so that your kid is comfortable and does not miss it and cry. you can also pack a few instant noodles and similar food items that you can give your kid in case there is no appropriate food available for some time. whatever you do, make sure one of the parents is constantly present with the kid. have a safe and fun travel :)

When the parents are with the baby then I guess they know to take all the precautions like: not to leave the baby alone; make sure that she doesn't eat something wrong or something that has choking hazard; to never leave the baby unattended etc. These were the precautions that all parents or elders who accompany kids would know but I can make a suggestion that we generally forget the following things when travelling with the kids that we must not. So the things that we should do while travelling are to always carry basic medicines for cold, cough, tummy ache and ear ache and fever. Take her toys or dolls or whatever thing is her favourite to keep her engaged.

one of the first precautions will be to never leave the child alone, even for a minute. in a new place, you will have to be especially careful, as babies have a tendency to be very curious and may wander off without realizing. also, try and make sure that whatever you make your child eat is not too heavy as children often tend to fall sick while traveling, mainly due to change in the type of water and also the weather. other than that just carry all the basic medicines and your child's medical file in case something is required.
