What is the wrong way to discipline a child?

Shaming a child in front of other people is a No No. We should respect them as a human being too, as adult also hate being shamed in front of people. Also, spanking a child will have negative impacts on them and makes them more rebellious. There is always other approaches when it comes to discipline a child e.g. positive parenting.

Locking them up in a room alone. I have seen parents do this. And I don't think this is right. Sit down and explain what he or she did wrong. And how he could have done it. Kids are kids. Let them be. They will all grow out of it. (We hope)

When you do it out of anger. Always gotta be calm and be patient. Take time to explain to your child why you are upset and why you are disciplining him.
