What is the best way to cut the baby's nails? Nail scissors or nail clippers? I am just worried that I might snip off some of the skin off my baby's teeny tiny fingers...so she still has not had her nails cut.

I have baby nail scissors, nail clippers and a baby nail trimmer. I've tried them all, and found that the nail scissors is easiest to use. It looks like it'll hurt the baby, but it's actually a lot safer than using nail clippers because their nails are as thin as paper. Use the side of the scissors to push down the flesh before cutting off the whites of the nails. The best time to do it is when your baby is sleeping or after a bath.

You can try trimming your baby’s nails after a bath when the nails are at their softest, or when they are sleeping. Use baby nail clippers to clip the nails or file them using an emery board. I feel you because I experienced that I snip off my baby skin using nail cutter for babies but after that I bought electric nail trimmer for babies safe and easy to use.

I cut my baby's nail at 3weeks old because I was too afraid I might cut the flesh as well. Af first it was scary, but after that I got used to it ❤️

For me I prefer nail clippers.. but it is up to you which u prefer and comfortable as long as u keep the babies nail cut and clean.😊

electronic nail trimmer is very slow but the result is beautiful. nail cutter makes a clean cut, but your eye sights must be good.

Neither of the two. I know it is a nerve wrecking situation but you need to do it. 🙂🙂 You can do it momma!
