Help pls: Baby's nails very sharp

Looking for advice on how can I make my 2 mth old baby's nails less sharp. I've tried the lollababy nail trimmer, or using a baby nail scissors and filing his nails thereafter. But they are still sharp like claws. Will appreciate any tips and advice yall have. :)

you may try to cut them when lo is napping/sleeping. less fidgeting = able to cut more

I will just cut every week. or on and off I will use mitten
