What's a good gift for a dad? I'm always lost on what I should give.

My dad really appreciates it when we spend quality time with him. For the last Father's Day, my siblings and I treated him to a movie and a really nice lunch. We also went to the arcade and he sang karaoke with us. He said it was the best Father's Day he's ever had, so maybe you can skip the socks and just plan a nice date with your dad. But if I have to give my dad something tangible, it's usually a book. Or the shaving cream from The Body Shop, he loves that stuff.

I gave my dad a watch for Father's day. He loved it not just because of the design or any other aspects but also for the reason that it was from her daughter. So I suggest, pick something that best describes what your dad wants and he will surely be happy whatever it is. That's the simplicity I like about dads. I saw this article too that may help you decide: https://ph.theasianparent.com/9-gifts-every-dad-will-love/ :)

I suppose it just depends on a few variables. For example, what's the occasion? And, what's your budget? In any case, I found these cool articles that should be of good use. Side note: one of them is a father's day article, but it's still totally applicable! https://ph.theasianparent.com/9-gifts-every-dad-will-love/ https://ph.theasianparent.com/6-things-husbands-really-want-fathers-day/

If you want something general, I suggest you get something that can be personalized with his name on it. The best ideas are something that he can also use, say a tumbler, towel, key rings, and the like. I found this site which I coordinated with a month ago. You can choose from umbrella's to tumblers and many more! their staff is really nice too! www.mypowderblue.com

If you're a cheapskate like me, then you can give your dad a personalized card, or do what I did and I wrote him a thank you letter to thank him for just being my dad. Oh, and don't forget to give him a hug, dads like that even if most don't show it.

It depends on what he likes. For my dad, I always give him basketball jerseys because he loves basketball and he's a collector as well.
