What is the benefit of putting baby in a playgroup or infant care? My husband say it won't be better then teaching him at home. So ask me to have confidence in myself and teach my 8 month lo until he can enter enrichment classes or kindergarten. He say playgroup is only for social interaction will not be better then I teach my lo 1 to 1. I am a sahm I am okay to take care of lo just want to know the what's so good about infant care or playgroup because all my friend been asking me to put my lo there...

We're not great in Chinese so at 10 months we put our child in Chinese playgroup- learn more about Chinese, get exposure in a fun way. I also tried Julia gabriel English trial lessons when he was 1.5years but for that, we felt not much point to put him in because he gets English exposure at home. Actually when kids are so young they can't play together... normally kids only start to play with other kids at about 3.
