What is the benefit of putting baby in a playgroup or infant care? My husband say it won't be better then teaching him at home. So ask me to have confidence in myself and teach my 8 month lo until he can enter enrichment classes or kindergarten. He say playgroup is only for social interaction will not be better then I teach my lo 1 to 1. I am a sahm I am okay to take care of lo just want to know the what's so good about infant care or playgroup because all my friend been asking me to put my lo there...

Playgroup is more for interation and socializing I feel that it's good exposure. Unless you have play dates for your bub. Otherwise it's a good balance to have playgroup and be a sahm. Also that's the time for you to have a short break and self care.
