What age should baby use pacifier

What age/month should I start to introduce pacifier to my baby? Is it necessary? What are the pros and cons?

pwede na mi kahit newborn, tiny buds sleepy time baby soother gamit ko kay baby. di sya nakakakabag unlike other pacifier🙂😊
