High OGTT result

For a week pinag monitor ako ng ob ko using glucometer. Before breakfast, 2 hours after each meal. Normal lahat lumabas sa glucometer. Kaya lang kanina nag test ako. For OGTT 75mg after 2 hours 186.91mg ung result. Kailangan pa ba mag take ng insulin kung kaya ko naman i control yung food intake ko sa bahay? Kasi delikado kapag nag insulin kahit normal naman sa glucometer, baka mauwi sa hypoglycemia. Anyone na may same case?

Hi, momshie! I feel you. During my first appointment sa internal medicine doctor ko, she advised me to go on a strict diet and do some light exercises like walking. A few weeks later, normal naman na daw blood sugar level ko. Hindi na nya ako pinag insulin or pinainom ng any medicine. Try mo muna mag consult sa IM specialist. :)
