Do you watch Game of Thrones with the kids?

I bond with my 7-year old niece by watching movies and television shows and I am a huge fan of Game of Thrones. But I am not allowing her to watch GOT or other series that share the same genre. As most know, it shows scenes that are not appropriate for kids. Perhaps, with its plot, the little ones will have a hard time understanding what is happening. Let them enjoy the lightness of Disney or Pixar movies first. :)

Nope. Its too violent. In fact i dint even buy action figures for my boys. They learn it at school yes, but that does not mean we need to encourage it as well. The base is in the home and they will fall back on home. I would not allow. My biys play with duplo, cars and puzzles and thats enough. Even if he watches shows ill always check to ensure he is not watching anything out of the genre.

Nope! It's easier to remain patient for a new episode than to explain to a child what the characters are doing, especially during explicit scenes. Not to mention, the show is too gory to be watched by a child.
