Vaccines

If my toddler has a runny nose and cough, advisable to go for chicken pox vaccine? Wondering if anyone has asked doc for advice before.

Previously I asked my PD about other vaccinations.. she said if runny nose and cough just started, then nope, don't stress the body with more to fight.. but if it's on the recovering track, it is fine to take the vaccine. If it's with fever, then confirm no no

Always best to have a healthy child going for vaccines. Sometimes after the vaccine, he/she might have slight fever so best if your child does not have runny nose and cough as well

Runny nose is okay as long as there's no fever or if her cold is pretty bad. If so, I would reschedule.

it is better for you to reschedule. you can call the clinic and they will advise you the same. :)

let ur child gets well first. strongly not recommend to do it while lo is unwell

Better not to take vaccine while the child is unwell, even if it’s not fever.

Doctor has advised us not to bring our child for vaccination when unwell.
