My baby only sucks her thumb. She does it since in my tummy. We were having an ultrasound scan when we saw her sucking her thumb. And she refused pacifier so she self soothed herself.

Both my kids didn’t need it. We comforted them using other methods

Yes he took for a while but didn't really like it so he self weaned.
