Absolutely, it's completely possible to teach your little one to nap and sleep without having to constantly carry and bounce them. At 3.5 months, they are old enough to start learning self-soothing techniques. One effective method is to establish a consistent bedtime routine. This could include activities like a warm bath, reading a book, or gentle rocking. The key is to create a calming environment that signals to your baby that it's time to wind down and prepare for sleep. Another technique is to put your baby down drowsy but still awake. This helps them learn to fall asleep on their own, without relying on being held or rocked to sleep. It may take some time for them to adjust, but with patience and consistency, they will eventually get the hang of it. In terms of outgrowing the need to be carried to sleep, it's important to remember that every child is different. Some babies may naturally become more independent sleepers as they grow older, while others may need a bit more guidance. By teaching them self-soothing techniques now, you're setting the foundation for healthy sleep habits in the future. Remember, it's okay to seek support from other parents or even a pediatrician if you're feeling overwhelmed or unsure about how to help your baby learn to sleep on their own. You're doing a great job, and with love and patience, your little one will develop the skills they need to nap and sleep independently. Good luck! https://invl.io/cll6she

My baby outgrow it after 4M sleep regression. Before that we were bouncing a lot and carried to sleep esp during regression. Now at almost 5M, she can sleep on her own. Just need to put help her put pacifier occasionally

Yes, will eventually outgrow it of course. You don’t need to be bounced to sleep anymore 🙂
