2 months old shakes head when want to sleep

Is it normal for 2 months old to constantly shake head from side to side when sleepy or wants to sleep? And eventually falls asleep. Are they self soothing

Yup its soothing. My baby dont do this anymore because i rock and bounce at every nap time. Speeds up the sleeping process but takes up alot of ur time. Cool off the room might help too maybe back of head might be heaty too🤷🏻
