Coming out - LGBTQ issues

There seems to be more stories of kids coming out to their parents. Are there any stories of parents coming out to their kids/needing to do that?

I have a Friend in Thailand who came out to his kids that he’s actually transgender. They were in their early teens and took it quite well. He has now fully transitioned and is still very close to his sons Coming out of the closet is a very scary thing to do. I hope you have all the family support you need to do so.
