Bakit hindi tumataba si baby kahit breastfeeding?

Tanong ko lang po, bakit hindi tumataba si baby kahit breastfeeding? Six months old na po siya, pero 5.7 kg lang yung timbang niya. Parang magaan po siya at kahit dede lang siya sakin, hindi po siya tumataba. Normal po ba ito, or may dapat po bang gawin? Maraming salamat po sa mga sasagot!

Yes, bakit hindi tumataba si baby kahit breastfeeding? This was my concern before, too. When my baby was around 6 months, he was only 5.5 kg and I was super worried. Pero sabi ng doctor ko, as long as he’s developing well, hindi naman daw issue yung timbang. It could also be related to a slow metabolism, or maybe there’s a feeding issue. Check with your pediatrician kasi baka they can suggest ways to help increase milk intake or rule out other medical conditions like reflux or allergies.
