Is strict “fruit diet” good for breastfeeding moms?

The general understanding is that you need an additioanl 500 calories per day when you breastfeed. I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all diet that best suits breastfeeding mom. Just your basic wholesome food groups, and avoiding alcohol and too much caffeine. Fruits are definitely approved, but I don't think a fruit only diet is very practical for getting all of your daily requirements.
