Words?

My son is 16th months old now, he can only speak mama and papa - usually randomly... he mostly babbles a lot. Should I be worried? The app says that at this age, he should be able to speak at least 7 words by now....

Sometimes, babies start speaking a bit later than usual. My own son did not speak much until he was 18-months-old. However, he started speaking a lot and now he does not stop! Pay particular attention to his reaction when you speak to him. Is he attentive? If he is, you should not be too worried. If he is not, you should speak to your paediatrician during the next visit.
