5mg folic acid

Hi ladies, i just found out i’m pregnant at 4 weeks now and doc gave me 5mg folic acid. I’m discovering my pee has a strong smell after consuming this. Is this normal or it is caused by a dosage too high for me? Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
