Detailed Scan at 20 weeks
Hi all, can share with me anyone got experience with fetus having an extra blood vessel during 20th week detailed scan?
Hi all, thanks for the reply. I have went to the specialist my gynae arranged for me after the detailed scan. The specialist told me that fetus heart is functioning normally and not affected by the extra blood vessel, however, this extra blood vessel is found most often on Down syndrome babies. Doesn’t mean my baby confirm has Down syndrome though and my baby’s nose and neck looked fine. So I had to do the panorama test to confirm baby is good and healthy. Awaiting results now. 🤞

Nope.. never hear that. Shouldnt there be a consultation session after 20 weeks scan?? Dont worry too much, if it"s serious, i guess they would have notified u and explain thoroughly to u already
No... havent experience or heard of that, best to seek gynae's advise and opinion
