Bleeding beside pregnancy sac

Scanned at 6 weeks 5 days. Still couldn't see heartbeat in the sac. And doctor captured bleeding right beside my pregnancy sac on ultrasound though I do not see bleeding from below. Gave me progesterone and to see him in 10 days. But its a painful 10 days to wait and hear that everything is fine. Anyone experience this before? I hope it's not a sign of an early miscarriage...
