Bleeding in 1st trimester

Hi everyone. I am about 6 weeks, 6 days. Yesterday I had some light spotting. This morning, I was bleeding like I'm starting my period. Went to see my gynae. It isnt an ectopic pregnancy but gynae says its too early to tell if I'm miscarriaging. We could see the sac but not the baby as its too early.My bleeding stopped already. The period-like bleeding only came out once. Anyone with similar experience? What was the outcome? Will be going for another scan in another week. Wish me luck.
