Fetal doppler

There's no harm in using the fetal doppler. Just see to it that you know how to use it properly. When you listen for baby's heartbeat make sure you are able to locate it properly. If you notice when you go to your doctor or midwife, they do palpation on your belly so they will know where to listen for the heartbeat. Some of them don't do palpation as they know approximately where to listen for the heartbeat based on baby's position depending on how many weeks you are. Maybe you know a nurse or midwife to help you in using the doppler. Just don't want you to get paranoid if you will have a hard time locating baby's heartbeat. Your baby's movement is a good indication of his/her well being plus you have your prenatal check up too.
