The Reggio Emilia course is focused on project based assignments how will this ready my son for Primary school where the lessons are separated by periods ?

To me, project based assignments instill a sense of independence as well as discipline because projects are often done in the long run, sometimes individually, sometimes in a group. Either way, it's not the typical "spoon-feeding" or rigourous daily assessment mode of education. While the Reggio Emilia style of education will not necessarily apply directly to primary school curriculum, traits like discipline, independence as well as curiosity can be honed eventually -- which will come in useful when your child is older and in higher levels of education as well as in their future jobs.
