As some of the insecticides contain strong chemicals, I would recommend spraying the insecticide when baby is not around. Never spray it directly in the room that baby is in. Perhaps do it at a gradual pace, room by room and making sure the doors are shut. After the insecticide has "settled down", move on to the next room. Alternatively, you can try a child-safe insecticide such as BIO X 3-1. It has a lower level of toxicity compared to other commercial brands, it is safe to be used around humans (and mammals in general apparently so safe if you have cats or dogs at home too) and leaves a mild fragrance. Most importantly, it is NEA approved.
