Birth Certificate

Is it possible to leave the name of the child's father blank on the birth certificate? I am a single mom and the father of my child didn't want him. So I decided to not include him on the certificate. Will this become a problem in the future if his father's name will not be written on the certificate?

It’s your decision to leave it blank. If in the future he wants to be a part of your child’s life, he needs to adopt him/her legally.
