Type 2 Diabetic

Ako po type 2 diabetic before conceiving.. naka oral meds ako and found out i was pregnant 6 weeks into pregnancy kaya super natakot ako kasi everyday of those weeks 4 meds iniinom ko for diabetes and 1 med for cholesterol.. buti na lang ok lang si baby.. I was advised to take insulin instead 2x a day at sariling sikap sa pag inject sa sarili, nakamonitor ang blood sugar 3x a day which is another pagtusok sa sarili everyday.. kaya kung noon takot ako sa injection, naging best friend ko siya nung magbuntis ako.. even after manganak nka insulin pa din when i tried to breastfeed but sadly wala tlga ako ma produce n milk.. Super hirap during pregnancy kasi di mkpag give in sa cravings basta2., Nkamonitor lhat ng kinkain, laging may worry na bka magka birth defect, mag pre term labor or mwlan n lng ng heartbeat si baby, not to mention ung dami ng gastos sa pagbili ng glucometer, ung strips and lancets, ung syringe and insulin, ung oral meds for pregancy itself, monthly consultation both OB and endocrinologist.. we were financially not ready and we're caught by surprise dahil hindi naman namin akalain na mabubuntis ako since we've been trying for 6years and I honestly gave up already.. tapos na stress pa kasi nag heads up na si OB na high chance for CS delivery but buti nlng nkya magnormal.. Getting pregnant was hard and so is pregnancy itself but things get even harder when ur diabetic.. u need a strong support system and a great faith that everything will fall to its rightful place.. by God's grace 3mos na bukas si baby and super healthy..

Insulin lang ang pwede for gdm mamsh pwede lang ang metformen for first trimester mag check ka always ng sugar mo and maintain diet
