Hi momsh before ako magbuntis LCIF ako for 2years tapos di ako inallow ng Ob ko mag lowcarb pa rin while pregnant. Ang ending nag spike up bloodSugar ko sa Ogtt kasi di na ko sanay may intake ng sugar.. So ayon nga natanggap ko na GDM na ko at bawal talaga walang carbs kasi need din yun ng preggy.. Ang diet ko care of dietitian kasi nagparefer din ako sa endocrinologist.. 1/2 cup of brownrice 3x a day (bf/lunch/dinner) ako tapos may sukat din bawat meat/fish saka veges and fruit.. Dapat well balanced lang lahat.. In between meals like meryenda pinili ko pa rin ang Anmum over sandwich.. So inshort pwede pa rin maternal milk basta hindi sasabayan ng ibang carbs. Kaya mo yan momsh buti nga may repeat ogtt ka. Saken hanggang manganak ako kahit controlled sugar ko thru diet GDM pa rin diagnosis ko..
GDM in 2 pregnancies plus nasa lahi ko na ang diabetes. What worked for me is shifting from white rice to corn rice. No white bread. Inalis ko din ang any colored drink but I give in to no sugar coffee occasionally since I am a coffee lover tlga. No specific diet plan. More on protein and veggies. I still eat sweets pero tipong titikim lang. It's more depressing if you'd suppress your cravings kasi. I portioned and monitored lang tlga what I eat. Tapos blood sugar monitoring to see what works.
When I wasn't pregnant, 69 kgs ako. Big girl tlga. It went down to 65 kgs during my first trimester. 2nd trimester it went up to 68 kgs. Now, in my 3rd trimester naging 67 kgs sya. As per my OB who's also a GDM mom, normal na bumaba timbang ko since I monitored my carbs and sweets intake. So far nmn mamsh, based on my CAS result during my 2nd trimester normal and according to her gestational age ang baby ko.
Ako po without Ogtt test sbe ng ob May GDM na daw ako kasi 115 Normal range ng fbs ko them ang results ko 118, now medyo ok nman na Blood sugar Monitoring ko, nag rice pa din ako pero as in wala ng sweets, soft drinks or any food na mataas sa ang carbs, Sabe nman ng Doctor ko sa IM, ok lang daw mag rice ako para din kay baby, Basta sure ko na ok din ang ulam ko,
wag ka muna mag carbs.like rice,saging and kamote na nilaga,oatmeal.white bread yan mga carbs. fruits mo dapat straberry and avocado lang po muna. wG ka kakain or iinom na matatamis.more water.and green vege ka lang para mabusog ka
red rice is high carbs din po, cauliflower rice nalang po para mas okay. Hehe
Bawas ka po rice, less sweet, less tinapay dapat ung whole wheat lang. Sa rice naman brown rice. More on gulay at meat ka lang po. No coffee and sodas. Diagnosed din ako tuwing lalaki pinagbubuntis ko.
mag lowcarb diet ka po mommy. more on veggies yon at meat, fish, eggs yun lang po. iwasang kumain ng fruits. avocado and strawberry lang po ang pasok sa lowcarb
