crying in childcare

Hello parents My youngest is currently in child care for abt 1.5 weeks. Somehow he kept on crying when its time to sleep. According to the teacher he didnt finish his food and slept for 20 mins only. Woke up crying and he refused to drink ebm ??? My youngest has been direct latch since birth and rarely bottle fed. I will be starting work soon and very worried about his well being. This is my first time encounter such experience as my other children are able to adapt very well. Any tips on this?

How old is your child? There will definitely be a period of time where the child will be anxious going to school as it is a new environment and strange people but they will adapt once they are more familiar.

Take time. My baby then too as she is so used to latching. Took almost half a year for her to realise that she has no choice but to drink from bottles in school and stopped kicking a fuss.

Takes time to adapt. Every child is diff. My LO 7 months went to ifc. Cry murder for 2 days and 3rd day got better. Now 2nd week already and no more crying.
