As far as I know, there was a new law, sis. 😊 Article II, Section 6, of the new law allows any female worker who will avail of maternity leave to transfer up to 7 of her 105 days of paid leave to the child’s father, whether they are married or not.

Yes, I agree with you sis. When my employer filed my mat ben, the HR tried to ask if okay lang ba bawasan nang 10 days yung 105 days mat leave ko para sa paternity leave ng partner ko though di pa kami kasal. That is the new law! :)
