4months old sleep sideways or tummy down

Is it ok to let 4 months old sleep sideways or tummy down ? Yes he already know how to flip his body from back to tummy. Or will it hinder his breathing or bad for them? Mostly for naps

I’m no expert but my baby sleeps on her side and she’s fine. Now she’s 10mo and sometimes she prefers to sleep tummy down and we let her, but we make sure there’s no blanket.
