I'm sorry this happened to you but to me (any many others), a man should never ever ever lay a finger on a woman no matter what the reason, no matter how angry he may be. I'm appalled and upset that this happened to you. Is this the first time it has ever happened? I'm just afraid that since this has happened, it might happen again. It could be just one slap now, but there could be other underlying issues behind that slap.
