My 8-m.o baby now eats lots of rice with munggo. Is this normal for her age?

Yes, it's normal for your bub to be given munggo and rice as a meal. Mung beans are good source of fiber, b vitamins and protein, all important for your baby's digestive health, muscle tone development, among other benefits. Rice, meanwhile, is a good source of carbohydrates to keep your baby active the whole day. Just be sure to give what she can only consume and don't let it substitute milk, as it should be his/her primary food source until 1 y.o. Also make sure to skip using salt and other flavors, given the rule that babies below 1 y.o. shouldn't be given food with salt, sugar and honey.
