surrender flat before MOP

Any mummy or daddy can advise me. May i know if once we surrender the flat before MOP , do we need to pay back cpf or hdb? What they mean by compensate by hdb?? Can estimate how much u pay back or no need to pay back? Appreciate ur kind input.

If you surrender flat before MOP you will have to return the flat to HDB at the prevailing compensation price. I hear you need approval if you sell before MOP. You should call HDB to find out more or if they have new policies.

Try to avoid it if you can. It's not worth the cost to surrender it back.
