Hi mummies. I noticed a hard lump behind my LO's right nipple. Anyone has any idea what that is? Should i bring her to the PD to have it checked? She doesn't cry out in pain when i squeeze the lump to see if anything comes out from it but it still bothers me. LO is 6 months old. Thank you!

I've read that it is common and it's caused by exposure to maternal hormones. It will shrink with time. Here's the article for your reference: http://www.webmd.com/parenting/baby/your-newborn-baby-breast-lumps But I think it would be good to consult a doctor just to be sure.

Share a picture with us, And def do bring to see a doctor and do let us know. So that we would also be prepared if we were to see such things on our daughters.

Hi dear, maybe you can share a picture with us? I suggest for you to consult a doctor to be on the safer side.
