Hi mummiesI am currently direct bf my baby. It is nice feeling that you are always wanted by your baby. However, my other elder children seems to be neglected as more attention is given to baby.This is my first time fully breastfeed my baby. The other children was introduced to bottle at 6 months. Baby now is 10 mo.Would like to find out how long do you direct bf your baby? At what stage you wean off baby from latch on? How do you do it?Thanks! ?

Working mum here so no choice has to stop direct latch very early.For the older kids - have a pact with papa that he needs to extra sayang them while you are busy with new baby

I wean off direct latch my girl when she was 15 months when she starts to bite...Introduce her fresh milk when she was 12 months for her afternoon milk in straw cup. Gradually wean her off when she was 15 months. Drinking frozen bm and fresh milk in straw cup instead. After that fully on fresh milk in straw cup.
